Get involved

We need your help — and it's not just money

Every bit of support helps us grow and change lives. Here's where you come in.

Ways to help

Six ways you can be part of it

Funding & sponsorship

Money keeps events affordable and covers buggies, insurance and welcome packs. Sponsors and funders who believe in this make it possible.

Partners & businesses

Local businesses and organisations who want to back a North East cause with real, visible community impact.

Golf clubs & venues

Clubs who can help host sessions, offer playing opportunities and make people feel genuinely welcome.

Spreading the word

Share our posts, tell friends and family, and connect us with people or networks who should know about Stroke Play Golf.

People & time

Volunteers, supporters, ideas, introductions, time — if you can help in any way, we'd love to hear from you.

Lived experience

If a stroke has touched your life or your family's, come and help shape what this becomes. Your experience is the point.

For golf clubs

Could your club host a day?

Our days work because clubs open their doors. At Longhirst, 32 people spent the afternoon and evening with us — some playing nine holes in buggies, some on the driving range, and many simply enjoying the clubhouse, a cup of tea and each other’s company.

  • Host a session at your club
  • Offer playing opportunities — a few holes, a bucket of balls or a single putt
  • Make people feel genuinely welcome

For businesses & supporters

Back a North East cause

Money helps us keep events affordable and covers buggies, insurance and welcome packs. Local businesses and organisations who believe in what we’re doing can make a real, visible difference — through sponsorship, funding, introductions or simply by spreading the word.

Volunteers and supporters are just as important. If you can give time, ideas or connections, we’d love to hear from you.
