Retirement Living is broadly aimed at over 55’s who are looking for independence and support where needed.
Schemes are very much designed to let you stay firmly in control while having everything on your doorstep; giving you the opportunity to maintain independence and freedom in the knowledge that help is on hand for everyday chores if desired. Retirement living gives you an excellent opportunity to socialise with like-minded people in a safe and secure environment.
Extra Care
Extra care is a housing option and lifestyle choice for people aged over 55. It provides a safe and secure environment designed to maintain your independence, where people can thrive and achieve a sense of independence and wellbeing. The aim of extra care is to provide vibrant community living with support, should you need it. High quality care can be provided in a flexible, responsive and personalised way by onsite teams.
Sheltered Accommodation
Sheltered accommodation schemes offer both older people and younger residents, depending on the type of scheme, independence with added security and support if needed. They are not nursing or residential care homes.
Whilst support and social activities are on offer, you would have your own apartment or bungalow with your own front door and you can be involved in the scheme as little or as much as you like.

About FUSION Housing
Fusion Housing is part of the Fusion Furniture Solutions brand.
From replenishment, through to large-scale projects, we can provide interior design services through to project delivery and after-care services. Our dedicated Fusion Housing business will offer our expertise across Retirement Living, Supported and Independent Accommodation, Extra Care and Sheltered Accommodation, providing ethically-sourced, competitively priced furniture, suitably robust for use within the market.
Our team have many years’ experience dealing with fantastic clients across the sector and what we know for sure is that providing a reliable service for our partners is of critical importance. Holding good stock levels and sourcing locally is in part how we can ensure the reliability of our service. Sustainability is also a major factor within the Fusion business. Our customers recognise that from having the advantageous ability to make our own furniture in-house, all under one roof, through to our efforts to procure ethically-sourced furniture within our extensive supply chain network, the majority of which is UK based manufacturing, are key drivers to reducing our carbon footprint.
In addition, many products within our furniture range are made from recycled materials, again further reducing our impact on the environment.
